Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 5 years in Emergency Department License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: - 5 or more years of experience in an Emergency Department Job Description: - Work in a 31-bed Emergency Room with 2 triage rooms, handling both Behavioral Health and Acute patients. - Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6; adapt to exceptions if necessary for discharges awaiting transportation, admit holds, or high-volume days requiring immediate care. - Utilize MedHost for the Emergency Department and Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health patients in extended care. - Engage with a diverse patient population across all age groups, from geriatric to pediatric. - Demonstrate professionalism, positivity, compassion, and teamwork. - Participate in orientation sessions offered bi-weekly on Tuesdays for new team members. - Travelers must be situated 60 miles or more away to be considered. - Complete and clear all screenings prior to starting. - Be prepared for random on-site drug screenings. - Wear scrubs in any color of choice. - Contribute to a healthcare mission focused on improving community health and creating a desirable workplace for healthcare professionals.
