Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 5 years in Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: 5 years ED experience; ICU and ED experience considered Job Description: - Seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department with a background in critical care. - The candidate must have a strong professional presence, a positive attitude, and a compassionate nature. - Experience in handling all age groups, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. - Must be a team player with a commitment to high-quality patient care. - Responsible for maintaining patient safety, providing direct nursing care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. - Requires knowledge of EMR systems, primarily using MedHost for emergency department activities. - Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions. - Flexible to work rotating weekends and float as needed. - Must complete and clear all screenings before starting. - Expected to adhere to the dress code, wearing scrubs of any color of choice. - There are 31 beds, including 2 triage rooms with 7 beds dedicated to Behavioral Health or Acute patients. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with possible exceptions based on patient needs, discharges, and admits. - Join a facility dedicated to making communities healthier and improving healthcare experiences for everyone involved.
