Reports to: Laboratory Director Responsibilities of the PositionPerforms common testing procedures and reports test results.Performs quality control testing.Maintains equipment and medical supplies.Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Minimum EducationAssociate's degree is required. Certifications/LicensesCertification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire. Required SkillsCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
