• Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required by unit.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute may be required for Behavioral Health & ER Behavioral Health Annex.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
  • Specializes in the care of Hospitalist Medicine patients with a focus on renal and a variety of other medical diagnoses.
  • Serves as an alternative unit for GI, Pulmonary, and other surgical/procedural patients being covered by Hospitalists.
  • 24-bed Telemetry PCU.
  • 13-week contract.
  • 3x12 hour days, 7a-7p shifts.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
    • Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4).
    • All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity.
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 hour days, 7a-7p shifts.
      • Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year).
      • RTO must be sent up front with submittal.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 24-bed Telemetry PCU specializing in the care of Hospitalist Medicine patients.
          • Additional Details
          • Holiday RTO Requirement.
          • I9 or attestation, and E-Verify required.
          • Drivers License/State ID required within 48 hours of signing, to confirm radius to the facility.
